More than 100 innovative ideas received for reducing GHG emmissions and increasing climate change resilience

Public Call for Innovative Solutions - Application statistics @UNDP Serbia, Feb. 2018.

The first Public call within the Climate Smart Urban Development Challenge (CSUD) project, brought 111 innovative ideas on how to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions and strengthen climate change resilience of cities and municipalities in Serbia. 

The largest number of innovative proposals came from individuals (43), civil society organizations (20), local self-governments (16), research and educational institutions (14), then private companies (12) and public utility companies (6). 

The Public call for innovative ideas was open from November 22, 2017 to January 31st this year. 

All the applicants will receive further information via e-mail and news published on the CSUD project web site http://inovacije.klimatskepromene.rs/en/climate-change-challenge/ on the next steps and evaluation results.
